In order to help people prevent haze scientifically, on January 9, the Beijing Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission and the Beijing Municipal Center for Disease Control and prevention issued the 'Thirteen questions on common sense of haze protection', in which, do you want to wear a mask when the haze comes? How to choose? How to wear mask correctly? What matters should be paid attention to when wearing masks and other questions were answered
If you have to go out in a haze day, wearing a mask is the most important protective measure. Any mask has a certain protective effect, but it is recommended to choose a good protective mask.
According to the national standard, the protection level of masks can be divided into four levels: D, C, B and a, corresponding to different air quality conditions.
Grade a corresponds to 'serious pollution' and is used when the concentration of PM2.5 reaches 500 μ g / m3. Grade D corresponds to 'moderate and below pollution', which is suitable for PM2.5 concentration less than or equal to 150 μ g / m3.
Wear masks in accordance with the instructions. When wearing, the nose, mouth and chin must be completely covered, and the mask should be closely fitted with the face. The better the airtightness, the better the protective effect.
Not everyone is suitable for wearing masks. The close structure and filter material of the mask will increase respiratory resistance and reduce comfort.
Different groups of people should pay attention to wearing masks: pregnant women should pay attention to combining their own conditions and choose products with better comfort, such as respirators equipped with exhalation valve, to reduce exhalation resistance and stuffy heat; for children In the growth and development stage, and its face shape is small, general masks are difficult to achieve the effect of close fitting, it is recommended to choose the children's protective masks produced by regular manufacturers; when the elderly, patients with chronic diseases and special groups with respiratory diseases wear masks, it is recommended to use them under the guidance of professional doctors.
Masks are not suitable for wearing for a long time. On the one hand, pollutants such as particulate matter are adsorbed on the outside of the mask, resulting in the increase of respiratory resistance. On the other hand, the inside of the mask can also accumulate bacteria and viruses in the exhaled breath. If you can't breathe fresh air for a long time, you will reduce your own immunity.
The non disposable masks should be cleaned regularly, and the filter membrane should be replaced. If not, they should be kept properly.
